Come explore the quiet spine in Yoga Asanas. By supporting the body through subtle, intelligent connection lines, we will learn to open to the expansion of movement and energy in the back body. This practice allows us to find movement with least effort.
Vijnana Yoga teaches us to find the inner wisdom in the body. We will be learning to touch this wisdom through 7 principles: Relaxing the body, Quieting the mind, Rooting, Expanding, Connecting, Breath awareness and Intent. Lyndsay has had a relationship with Yoga from early childhood to present day. Her training in Hatha Yoga includes, Iyengar, Kria Yoga and Ashtanga 8 limbs; but her style is dominated by Vijnana Yoga as taught by Orit Sen Gupta, Gioia Irwin and Cathy Valentine.
