Yoga in Oak Bay!!!
Join local instructor Guy Friswell in this moderate intensity flow class. You will learn a core set of posture sequences that flow from one to the next using your breath as a guide to movement and stability. This eight-week series will begin with the essential posture and breathing foundations needed for a safe and fun yoga flow class. Sequences will include warm-ups, salutations, standing, balancing, seated, and prone/supine postures. Each week, we will layer on a bit more challenge to each of the sequences, but always start from the safe base learned in earlier classes. In later classes, you will be able to choose the level of intensity appropriate for you as we flow with breath and music. This will be an ideal class for centering and re-energizing yourself at the end of your workday, whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned yogi … everyone is welcome!
