Yin Yoga Workshop with Michael Taylor: Yin Yoga utilizes physical postures held mindfully for a longer period of time (usually 3 – 5min) bringing suppleness to the less elastic tissues, strengthens the energetic system & increases overall health & well-being.

Postures are usually done sitting or lying down and focus mainly on the lower body: legs, hips & low back. In this workshop, learn the theory, history & benefits of Yin Yoga through discussion & visual materials. Explore the practice of Yin Yoga focusing on the physical, mental & emotional aspects & build a repertoire of Yin postures & modifications useful for all levels of ability. Includes a 90 minute yin yoga class.

This workshop is suitable for both yoga students & yoga teachers. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate documenting 6 hours of accepted Continuing Education.
