Anxiety is a common experience that we all share from one extreme to the other. It can safeguard us from danger, a signal to be alert, but can also overwhelm us at different times or areas of our lives. Together we will look at how yoga can aid in recognizing and perhaps quelling or managing anxiety. Our time together will involve looking at yoga as a healing modality that can foster healing on different levels, discussion, and gentle practice involving movement and breathing.
This workshop is apropriate for anyone, whether you suffer from generalized anxiety or experience anxiety on certain occasions or with certain triggers. Maybe you suffer from anxiety or perhaps you would like more information on how yoga can help support a family member, friend or client who struggles with anxiety. Everyone and all levels of yoga experience are welcome. $45+GST
